J.D. José Alfonso Martínez Suárez
Founder of the firm´s subsidiary office in Guadalajara, Jalisco, J.D. José Alfonso Martínez Suárez graduated with honors from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG). His educational development was complemented by attending various courses that prepared him on issues of Labor Law, including: “La prima de antigüedad” by Ph. D. Néstor de Buen Lozano, “Legislación laboral Siglo XXI” and “Perspectivas laborales a corto plazo” taught by Ph. D. Baltasar Cavazos.
He served as professorof Roman Law and Labor Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG). He is a permanent Speaker at the Labor Conferences from the Banking Center of Guadalajara, AC,
He is also the founder of the Guadalajara branch of the Cavazos Flores and AC State Representative of the Mexican Academy of Procedural Labour Law, in addition, he founded the Association of Professionals of Labor Law of the State of Jalisco, S.C.
He has participated as columnist for the Bulletin of the American Bar Association (ABA) and is an active member and Coordinator of the Labour Law and Social Security Committee of the Mexican Bar Association.
Ph. D. Baltasar Cavazos Flores †
In addition to being the Director of Cavazos Flores in Mexico City , Querétaro , Saltillo , Guadalajara and Tijuana, he was President of the Teachers College of Labour Law , the XIV International Congress of Labour Law and the Mexican Academy of Procedural Labour Law, he was also Vice President of the College of Doctors of Law, and was named Emeritus and Honorary Teacher at several universities in Latin America.
He was Emeritus Chairman of the American Association of Labour and Social Welfare, Professor of Labour Law at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), and Commander of the Order of Judiciary Labor in Brazil.
He was alsomember of the Iberoamerican Academy of Labour Law , the American Institute of Labour Law , the Mexican Academy of Independent Institutional Law and External Instructor of the Coordinating Unit of Employment, Education and Training of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare.
He performed as Judge of the American Development Bank , and he received the Gold Medal of Merit of the Law Institute of the UNAM. Along his career, he received over 260 honorary degrees and awards.
